Abstract

The Internet is a multidimensional, multidirectional and interactive market, but it breaks itself up. It is a macro-market with thousands of mini-markets. The institutions and companies of the Portuguese tourism should better not to ignore what the digital economy has to offer which, by means of the underlying technologies to the internet, can bring them the chance for new businesses twenty-four hours a day. Such institutions and companies have available useful tourist information and services for the clients, as well as they can sell and/or do business with the purpose of obtaining benefits and/or economize with the properties, workers and expenses of those tourist institutions and companies.
