Abstract

The comparative analysis of the two inventaries and the study of the structure and present characteristics of the regional statistic sources bring the possibility of knowing the most relevant features. Among them is the increasing importance of the all sources and especially some of them. such as periodical publications about tourist statistics, that mainly include the results of the inquiries, type of source that has also grown a lot recently and whose main subjets of research are occupation in tourist accommodation and demand inquines. Less diffunded are the data from other sources as administrative registers about tourist companies and activities or demands of information at he tourist offices. As a whole, they offer an enormous wealth of information, not only for the juncture analysis but also for the structural studies of the tourist sector.
