Turismo accesible en las Ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad de España

Abstract

Given that World Heritage Cities, as fortifi ed cities, were essentially designed to be inaccessible, some of them are obviously not ideally suited for Accessible Tourism. Nevertheless, the Spanish World Heritage Cities Group is working hard to provide accurate and reliable information about levels of accessibility to the different tourism establishments, monuments, accommodation facilities, etc. as well as tours of these cities by carrying out a diagnostic analysis of each one and then making this information available across a variety of different communication channels and platforms.
