Análisis de los impactos psicosociales en las comunidades locales turistificadas de Barcelona y Lloret de Mar

Este artículo investiga los impactos psicosociales de la turistificación, un fenómeno que transforma las comunidades locales mediante el aumento de la actividad turística. A través de los marcos teóricos de la teoría del intercambio social y la teoría de la solidaridad emocional, se analiza cómo las comunidades de Barcelona y Lloret de Mar responden emocionalmente al turismo. Mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, se evalúan las actitudes hacia los turistas, destacando elementos como la hospitalidad, la proximidad emocional y la empatía. Los resultados revelan que las respuestas emocionales varían según la percepción de los impactos negativos del turismo, como el estrés y la sensación de pérdida de control, influenciadas por la dependencia económica y factores demográficos como el género y la edad. Además, se cuestiona la noción de “turismofobia”, sugiriendo que las actitudes negativas están vinculadas a dinámicas políticas y contextos socioeconómicos más amplios. Este estudio aporta una comprensión más profunda de las emociones en la interacción entre residentes y turistas, enfatizando la necesidad de una planificación turística que contemple los impactos psicosociales, especialmente en relación con las mujeres y los jóvenes.
